Hello Parents! I am so glad you are here visiting our webiste! I will use this site to provide information for you about our day, class, upcoming dates, reminders, homework and projects. I will do my best to keep it up to date. Just keep in mind that the most up-to-date information will be in your child's HW folder and daily planner.

Today we got back into the school routine. This morning we talked about what we already KNEW was good behavior in school and what were the things that would get us in trouble. We talked about how I will give them two opportunities to fix the negative behavior (be it complaining, calling out, bothering a neighbor during work etc...) After the 3rd time, they will have a removal from whatever activity and asked to "think about it."

We worked on reviewing some math looking at expanded form and double digit addition with regrouping. Those sheets should have come home so please take a look at what your child completed.

Students were given a sample reading log and also set up there nightly reading logs. Tonight they are to read at least 15 minutes and write a 4-5 sentence summary of what they read. Then they are to pick out 3 words that they either don't know OR that would make good vocabulary words. They should then find the definition and write them out. (please look at the sample that they glued into their log)

Students came home with many papers in their folder. Please take the time to look over the papers that were in there. Lots of information for you.

It was a great first day! Please let me know if you have any questions! I'm looking forward to a great year!
