Hi to all! Can you believe that it's already the holiday season? It always amazes me how quickly the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas just fly by. So, that said, we have been very busy! Last week students began writing North Pole mysteries. This week were are learning about quotation marks and how to punctuate them properly....so we are learning how to edit our stories and add dialogue! We are also doing this using Google Classroom and Google Docs. Students are typing their stories on their ipads and then I am submitting corrections and comments through our Google Classroom. Students can then make changes and additions all on the ipad. Hopefully we will have compelted stories by the end of the week and will be able to print them out and publish them for your viewing!

We began learning about our neighbor to the north, Canada. We learned about it's geography and the 6 regions and what they are. We will continue to learn about Canada through the holidays and right after.

We are plugging away at Module 3 which continues to look at multiplication and division. We are applying several strategies that we learned in module 1 so most of these lesson are not totally new....we are just using them with the 6, 7, and 8 facts.
