Just a reminder that Parent Information Night is next Tuesday at 6:30 pm. I will be going over lots of information regarding your child's day. I hope to see everybody there!

Today was a very productive day. We continue to look at division and multipication as inverse operations. Today we looked at the commutative property of multiplication which states taht 2 times 6 is the same as 6 times 2. The reversal of the factors does not change the product.

During Daily 5 I introduced two new center activities and the students had fun exploring their letters, spelling and completing Imagine Learning on their i-pads. I will continue to introduce new center activities through October and then we'll be rocking and rolling and able to rotate independently through the tasks.

The students are learning so much in our Social Studies Unit about Mexico. We will begin learning about the History of Mexico tomorrow.

I sent home Scholastic Book Order yesterday. There are many great books that you can purchase.
