Monday, 9/18

Just a reminder that Tomorrow, Tuesday 9//19, is parent information night at 6:30pm. I hope to meet everyone there as I will be going over serveral important details about the classroom. I will have lots of goodies for youto take home with you, so please be sure to come!

Today we began working on the 4 types of sentences. We are also working on expanding our stamina for writing by journal writing on various topics (provided by the teacher). Today we wrote for 10 minutes and then shared. This practice will help students continuously write and stream their toughts into the written process. We also focus on using those Non-Negotiables!!!!

In math we looked at how we can solve multiplication problems by breaking it down into two smaller problems. We practiced putting two arrays together and seeing how the sum of those two arrays was the same as the whole larger array.

Students should be working on their super student posters. They are due this Friday and I can't wait to learn more about them! Also, please take a look at the Scholastic book order. There are lots of great books .... order by this Friday ONLINE ONLY. I will submit the orders this weekend and we will all have next books to devour!
