The weeks are going by so quickly! It's already the end of the month and Halloween is just around the corner! A few things to keep in mind. Next Tuesday is Halloween. Parent visitation begins at 11am followed by the Halloween parad at 1:30. We will have our class celebration in the morning. I have asked for $2 from each child to help pay for juice, donuts and popcorn. Please send that in when you can!
We are well into Module 2 of math. It focuses on different measurements of mass and weight and solving problems using a variety of measurements. A reminder that you can get the modules from www.engageny.org and video tutorials of each lesson are located on www.embarck.com
We are reading a story called Bat Loves the NIght which continues our learning about bats. The focus skill this week is the sequence of events. Dont forget to take a look at our bulletin board when you visit....you can see how we compared and contrasted bats vs. owls. In science we continue to work on our weather unit by looking at the types of tools scienctists use to predict weather. We also look at how weather changes in different parts of the world.
Please let me know if there are any questions! Happy Monday!
